How do you do a proper jump on a wake board?
keen wake boarder and wont to do proper jumps off the wake.

the best way is to edge thru the wake eyeing the same spot on the other side to land at keeping the direction at all times, leaning down the rope to keep tension on the line, 2nd: the power of the edge of the board is determined by how much you load the line, this is done by getting into a "seated" position ie: bending the knees in a 90 degree angle to apply more pressure steadily as you approach the wake. after that, it's all about releasing the tension at the top of the wake and letting the wake push the board back off of it, this is done by timing your pop off the wake.
you can start out by carving in and out of the wake working more and more speed up to pop off the wake, the more you release or straighten your legs at the top of the wake, the more pop you'll get, but you wanna keep the lead edge of the board travelling in the same direction. do not let it turn back toward the boat or you'll take a fall when the board hits the water again on the other side
