How does the whole "consume less calories than you burn" thing work?
I don't get it! I looked on this site and it said that i would only burn about 800 calories a day, which would be far too unhealthy to try and consume less than that...
How can i know if i'm comsuming less than i'm burning?
I wanna lose stomach fat, but i keep cracking and eating all this shit!

okay.... say you're currently eating 2000 calories a day, and have been for a while, and haven't been losing or gaining any weight.
this meants that you are already burning 2000 calories a day during normal activity, or else you'd be gaining weight, because one pound is about 3500.
now, if you don't change your physical activity, but take in less calories, you'll lose weight, depending on how much of a deficit.
and if you increase physical activity, you'd be burning more than 2000 calories a day, so you'd lose weight.
you will lose weight; decrease calories and increase activity
