What can I do to my car....?
I have a 2000 Crown Victoria PI. I want to modify it so it can be on par with my friends 2007 WRX. He has an intake, straight pipes, turbo, the whole she-bang. It's fast. My cruiser is pretty balzy for a big sedan but I want to know what I can do, on a relatively tight budget, to unleash what potential it might have. Can I put a turbo in it? Supercharger? Intake/exhaust? Suspension? (It kinda feels like driving a boat compared to my friends cars) Any input would be great.
and yes you can definitely put a supercharger and a turbocharger (or both if you're feeling really adventurous)
the 4.6 that you have in it is basically the same engine that came in V-8 mustangs so there are TONS of aftermarket parts
and yes you can beef up the suspension as well, along with tires/wheels and such
HOWEVER- its still a crown vic.... its still the same size as a small ocean liner.
it will NEVER compete with the wrx unless its specific straight line acceleration and you drained the oil out of the subie....
